KETTLEBELL FITNESS CHALLENGE- Part 2

Thanks to so many of you for all the encouragement, kind words and interest in the fitness challenge I'm currently a part of. It's been a blast working with such dedicated ladies of all ages focused on better health.

To those of you who want to get involved: I am so pumped that you have a desire to take part in this challenge. I promise you will LOVE it.

Here are the details and rules of the Dub Lane Kettlebody Fitness Challenge:

The Dub Lane Kettlebell Fitness Challenge will begin Monday, January 16, 2012.
Q: Why Monday?
A: Kettlebody by Brook is designed for a 6 day/week workout. It will be easiest to log and track progress during the 8-week challenge if we begin on a Monday. It will also allow for Sunday to be a day of rest.

Q: Where do I sign up?
A: Please email Erin at lifeinthedublane@yahoo.com and let her know you want to join. We will have a secret group-page set up on Facebook that we will use as a sound board during the Fitness Challenge. Tips, Recipes, Progression Photos {etc} will be posted while going through the 8-week series. "Secret" means that ONLY you and members of the group will see the contents that are posted. The group will not be searchable to anyone. No one will know it even exists.

Q: Do I have to have a Facebook?
A: Yes. Considering the challenge is centered around support, encouragement and progress, it's mandatory that you join in the group on facebook.

Equipment Needed
Q: Where do I buy the DVD series and when do I need to place my order?
A: You can purchase the DVD series via cardiopump.com. Here is a direct link to the store.
If you would like to begin the Fitness Challenge with the group on January 16, I highly recommend that you order your DVD series no later than January 5. The sooner the better!!!

Q: What size Kettlebell do I need to purchase?
A: I suggest that you purchase a 7 lb (for exercise beginners) or 10 lb (for those experienced with exercise) kettlebell. Do not exceed this weight until after you complete the 8-weeks series. For returning members, I would like to encourage you to choose a kettlebell that's one weight size heavier than you used in the prior challenge.

Q: Where do I purchase the kettlebell and what does it look like?
A: You can order with your DVD purchase or you can purchase a GoFit or Reebok kettlebell at Target. You may also purchase via the link {here} for 20% off. If you live in Texas there is an extra bonus... free shipping.

Photo Requirements:
Q: Do I have to submit photos?
A: Absolutely! No exceptions.

Q: Does my face need to be in the photos?
A: Yes. No exceptions.

Q: What angles to I need to take?
A: Each week you will need to take a Frontal View and a Side View {same side each week}.
At the very beginning you will need to take a Rear Photo that will be used to see progress at the very end. You will not submit your booty pictures each week. :)

Q: What do I need to wear in my weekly photos?
A: It will be mandatory to post your progression photos wearing a sports bra and tight shorts/pants. No exceptions. If you would like to post in a bikini, that would be fine as well. I have learned from the prior challenge that while you may feel uncomfortable at first, the progress made during the fitness challenge is SO great that many want to start wearing this type of outfit in their photos. It is also "mandatory" is that you wear the EXACT same outfit each week for your progression photos. If the outfit gets too big... good. {that's what we are aiming for anyhow}.

Q:What about the background in the photos?
A: While it would be ideal to have a solid background in your photo, that may not be possible. However it is mandatory that you have the same background in each weekly photo.

Q: When will I submit my weekly photos and how?
A: You will be required to submit weekly photos and progression reports each Sunday. Within our Facebook group we have "albums". You will upload your photo into the weekly photo album and post your progression report under the photo. NOTE: After you complete your workout on Saturday, you have the remainder of that day and most on Sunday to take your progression photos. No exceptions will be made for a time extension allowed when posting weekly photos. Participants that do not post photos on Sundays will be removed from the group on Monday morning with no warning.

Q: What information will we include in the progression report?
A: You will be asked to record the measurements from the following areas: waist, arms, thighs, bust, calves and buttocks. You will also be asked to record your weight each week. Remember... this is why you and everyone else have chosen to join the challenge. It's just a number. I am not going to be there in person to make sure you are telling the truth on any of your progression reports, but I can say that the more honest you are with your records, the more accomplished you will feel at the end. There's really no need to fudge numbers. What's the fun in that anyways? It's really about that simple.

Prize
Q: What will the 2 winners of the Dub Lane Kettlebody Fitness Challenge receive?
A: At the end of the 8-week Fitness Challenge, I had Brook Benten agree to selecting the participant that achieves the greatest results. In addition, we will have a readers choice award for the participant that receives the most votes for their progress. Brook Benten has graciously offered to give the 2 Winners each a set of her entire DVD Library. Can you imagine... you will be one hottie that gets to keep up the work!

The Dub Lane Kettlebell Fitness Challenge is something that Erin is personally "hosting". This Fitness Challenge is in no way connected to or directly associated with Brook Benten or GoFit. All rules are made up by Erin and are set to make it fun, motivating and have been created to set the standard for a genuine Fitness Challenge. Participants that do not adhere to the rules set in place will be removed from the group without warning. All participants that submit progression reports and progression photos may be asked by Brook Benten or GoFit for full permission to use with no compensation {you just get the bragging rights}. Please make sure that you have read and agree to these terms.

MANDATORY RULES: {Please read carefully and make certain that you will be able to commit to them fully before joining the challenge}.
*I will wear a sports bra with tight shorts/pants or a bikini in my weekly progression photos.
*I will post a Frontal view and a Side view photo each week, wearing the same exact outfit and using the same background.
*I will post my weekly progression photos in the appropriate photo album within the group page on Sundays. I understand that if I do not post by the end of the day Sunday, I will be subject to immediate dismissal from the Fitness Challenge.
*I will submit my weekly Progression Report with my weekly photos.
*I will agree to a lifestyle change by eating healthy, by supporting and encouraging others within the group and pushing myself each week to do the very best that I can!
